The Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation is excited to announce our participation in Omaha Gives!/Pottawattamie Gives! on May 24th, 2017. This 24 hour giving holiday goes from midnight to midnight and gives the community a chance to support the work of non-profit organizations in the Omaha metro area. Participating non-profits are provided a platform for their 24 hour fundraising campaign as well as a match percentage from the Omaha Community Foundation with Pottawattamie County non-profits also receiving additional match funds from the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation & the Iowa West Foundation. In addition to the potential for match funds participating non-profits have the chance to win cash prizes hourly based on the number of donations and the number of unique donors that show their support. With a minimum donation of only $10.00, the matching funds & the potential cash prizes every donation counts and even the smallest donations can go a long way toward supporting our mission.
To participate in Omaha Gives! please visit www.omahagives24.org and register today. While you are there take a few minutes to look through all of the non-profits participating in this year’s Omaha Gives! Don’t forget to check out our Omaha Gives profile. Then, on May 24th, log on & donate to the non-profits of your choice. You may donate to as many non-profits as you like, as many times as you like. Since the hourly cash prizes are based on the number of donations you receive in an hour we are asking supporters to consider Waking Up With The Birds between 3:00 a.m. & 4:00 a.m. to make a donation to PCF. By donating in the wee hours of the morning when traffic to the site is reduced you increase our chances of being awarded an hourly cash prize.
Support us on Facebook by sharing our story and our name and help us reach a wider audience of potential donors & not only raise funds during Omaha Gives! but also helping us reach new people to make them aware of the important work PCF does in Pottawattamie County.
If you have any questions or need any additional information please email Kate Simmons, Community Relations Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continued support of the Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation.
